i know its a larger bike than most suggest but i really hate the idea of buying a bike just to have to sell it in a couple months.
i would even rather put a granny on it, if i feel the need.
if i'm not stupid, start slow, and know my limits, does anyone see a SERIOUS problem with this? thannx.
by the way, if u havent guessed, i have minimal riding experience. i do drive a stick on a daily basis though.

Just remember that it is up to you to have the mental dicipline to keep this bike under control. You'll do fine if you remember this thing can really take off on you.
You will be impressed with the handeling, with the torque and roll-on ability. Just take your time, work into it and have fun.

YES.. I say go for it. just use some common sense.
and take the motorcycle driving course...
If you are sensible on it ,you should be fine.
Dont go mad with it the first day,sure-fire way to have an accident.Just go easy on it until you know what its capable off.Realistically,it should be good for 160mph so its not going to be a slouch by any means.Nice bike choice btw
My first street bike was a Kawasaki KZ 1000 back in 1977. Lots of people learn to ride on Harley Davidsons. A 675 should be fine for learning. Do yourself a favor and take a rider safety class.
No. No. No.
